FROM THE GALILEE TO THE NATIONS

A Call to Build, Stand, and Shine in This Generation
By Chaim Malespin
As I write these words from the Galilee, I find myself reflecting on a journey that has now stretched to approximately 985 days of military deployment and service during wartime in Israel.
Nearly one thousand days.
That number is difficult to comprehend until you’ve lived it.
Days away from family. Days of uncertainty. Days of sirens, headlines, funerals, miracles, prayers, and perseverance. Days that remind you that the battle for Israel is not fought only with tanks, aircraft, intelligence operations, and diplomacy.
It is also fought in the realm of ideas.
It is fought in the media.
It is fought in classrooms.
It is fought in courtrooms.
It is fought in culture.
It is fought in the hearts and minds of people around the world.
And that is why I am writing today.
The Battle Beyond the Battlefield
We often hear about military power. We hear about political power. We hear about economic power.
But there is another kind of power that shapes nations and civilizations.
It is often called soft power.
Soft power is the ability to influence hearts, minds, values, and perceptions through relationships, culture, truth, and credibility.
Today Israel is facing not only a military war, but a narrative war.
Since October 7th, the world has witnessed an unprecedented wave of demonstrations, media campaigns, social media activism, and competing narratives concerning Israel.
In the United States alone, researchers documented approximately 12,400 pro-Palestinian demonstrations compared with roughly 2,000 pro-Israel demonstrations during the same period.
Across the globe, tens of thousands of protests have taken place, shaping perceptions and influencing public opinion.
These are not simply protests.
They are battles over narrative.
Battles over memory.
Battles over truth.
Battles over whether future generations will understand Israel as a nation fighting for survival or as something else entirely.
This matters because narratives eventually influence governments, institutions, universities, media organizations, and future leaders.
That is why we cannot remain silent.
Calling Good Evil and Evil Good
The prophet Isaiah warned of a generation that would blur the lines between truth and falsehood:
“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness.”
ישעיהו ה׳:כ׳ | Isaiah 5:20
When I look at much of the public conversation surrounding Israel today, I often think of this verse.
We live in an age of unprecedented information and unprecedented deception.
Truth is often distorted.
History is often forgotten.
Context is often ignored.
The challenge before us is not simply to react.
The challenge before us is to shine.
The Light of the Galilee
Our headquarters is located here in the Galilee.
Not in a global capital.
Not in a skyscraper.
Not in a major media center.
But in the Galilee.
The same Galilee where Yeshua the Messiah walked.
The same Galilee that became a light to the nations.
The same Galilee from which ordinary people were called into extraordinary purposes.
If you visit our center, one of the first things you will notice is the collection of flags flying proudly.
Nearly 59 nations are represented.
Those flags are not decoration.
They represent relationships.
They represent partnerships.
They represent believers.
They represent volunteers.
They represent influencers.
They represent people who have decided that standing with Israel matters.
When I look at those flags, I see something beautiful.
I see the nations gathering around a common purpose.
I see Isaiah’s vision beginning to unfold.
I see people from every background choosing friendship over indifference.
Psalm 147 Happening Before Our Eyes
One of the passages that has carried me through these years is Psalm 147.
“The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: He gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.”
תהילים קמ״ז:ב׳ | Psalm 147:2
We are watching this happen.
Not theoretically.
Not symbolically.
Literally.
For more than thirteen years we have been helping Jewish families return home.
Aliyah is not merely immigration.
Aliyah is restoration.
Aliyah is healing.
Aliyah is prophecy becoming reality.
The same Psalm continues:
“Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy Elohim, O Zion.”
תהילים קמ״ז:י״ב | Psalm 147:12
Jerusalem is being built.
The exiles are returning.
And believers from the nations are finding their place in this story.
The Modern Ships of Tarshish
Isaiah declared:
“Surely the islands shall wait for Me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far.”
ישעיהו ס׳:ט׳ | Isaiah 60:9
Scholars debate where Tarshish was located.
Spain.
Sardinia.
North Africa.
Perhaps even farther.
But when I read Isaiah 60, I think about something bigger.
I think about every vessel Elohim uses to bring people, resources, and influence toward His purposes.
In ancient times those vessels were ships.
Today they may be airplanes.
Television networks.
Streaming platforms.
Podcasts.
YouTube channels.
Social media.
Media has become one of the modern ships of Tarshish.

More Than Standing With Israel
Standing with Israel matters.
But this is about more than Israel.
What is under attack today is not only a nation.
It is a worldview.
Many of the principles that shaped Western civilization came from biblical foundations.
The value of human life.
The dignity of the individual.
Justice.
Family.
Marriage.
Responsibility.
Covenant.
Faithfulness.
Truth.
These principles influenced legal systems, educational systems, charitable institutions, marriage laws, inheritance structures, and social expectations throughout much of the world.
Today many of those foundations are under assault.
In schools.
In courts.
In media.
In entertainment.
In public discourse.
Even the very idea of covenant marriage is increasingly challenged.
The issue is larger than politics.
The issue is whether righteousness will continue to influence civilization.
Scripture tells us:
“Righteousness exalteth a nation.”
משלי י״ד:ל״ד | Proverbs 14:34
Freedom is not found in rejecting Torah.
Freedom is found in living according to the wisdom of Elohim.
The plan of Elohim has always been freedom.
Not chaos.
Not lawlessness.
Not oppression.
Freedom rooted in righteousness.
Esther’s Moment Is Our Moment
I often think about Esther.
She lived in a hostile environment.
She faced a culture that was not always friendly to her people.
And yet she chose courage.
Mordechai challenged her:
“Who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
אסתר ד׳:י״ד | Esther 4:14
I believe we are living in one of those moments.
This is not the time to sit back and watch.
This is not the time to endlessly scroll through headlines and worry.
This is the time to build.
To create.
To influence.
To stand.
My Invitation
Whether you are Jewish, Druze, Arab, secular, religious, a believer, a filmmaker, an entrepreneur, an influencer, a journalist, a student, or a business leader—we need you.
Come to the Galilee.
See the flags.
See the studio.
See what Elohim is doing.
Meet the people.
Hear the stories.
Become part of something bigger than yourself.
Because movements are not built by spectators.
They are built by people who answer the call.
A Final Word
After 985 days in uniform, I am more convinced than ever that hope is not passive.
Hope is built.
Faith is not merely spoken.
Faith acts.
And the future belongs to those who choose courage over fear.
From the Galilee, with partners from nearly 59 nations, media reaching hundreds of millions of households, and a growing movement dedicated to truth, Aliyah, righteousness, and hope, I invite you to stand with us.
The story is not over.
The gathering continues.
The light still shines.
And together, by the grace of Elohim, we will continue to build, to stand, and to shine.
ביחד נבנה. ביחד נעמוד. ביחד נאיר.
Together we will build. Together we will stand. Together we will be victorious.
