Come Out and Be Separate: A Prophetic Call in the Days of Ascension

Theme: A prophetic message rooted in Isaiah 28:14–19, Revelation 18:4, and current world events, calling for holiness, separation, and faith in Messiah Yeshua during the Omer count and the times of global shaking.

Introduction: The 40th Day – Ascension and Prophetic Timing

Today marks the 40th day of the Omer count, the day traditionally associated with the ascension of Yeshua the Messiah (משיח ישוע) according to Acts 1:3. This season, between Pesach (Passover) and Shavuot (Bikkurim / Pentecost), is filled with spiritual weight and prophetic timing. It is a time of refining, reflection, and ultimately—baptism by fire.

As we gathered in prayer, we sought the fire baptism of Shavuot, that the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) would descend again in our generation as it did in Acts 2. Just as the firstfruits were brought to the Temple, we desire our lives to be those living offerings on the altar.

The video shared (Watch Here) captures that longing.

But this season also reminds us that in these 50 days, we must come out and be separate. We must be distinct as the Kehilah (קְהִלָּה) of Elohim—set apart, faithful, bold.

Encouragement Amid Global Pressure – Romans 8:18

As the nations rage and political tensions increase—France, the United Kingdom, and Canada now pledging “concrete action” against Israel if it does not halt the war against Hamas, even with or without the hostages being released—many righteous hearts are grieved. The world calls Israel’s legitimate self-defense “egregious,” ignoring the decades of terror and the covenantal right of the Jewish people to defend their homeland.

In this time of shaking, those who stand with Zion, who mourn with the soldiers suffering trauma, loss, and exhaustion, may feel pressed on every side. But the word of Elohim (אֱלֹהִים) gives us a promise that lifts our spirits above this present darkness.

“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.”

— Romans 8:18 (ESV)

סבור אני כי אין סבלות הזמן הזה כדאי להעמידם בשורה אחת עם הכבוד העתיד להיגלות בנו.

— אל הרומים ח׳:י״ח (Hebrew NT)

The apostle Sha’ul (Paul) wrote these words not from a place of comfort, but from tribulation and deep persecution. He endured shipwrecks, floggings, betrayals, and hunger. Yet through it all, he kept his eyes on the glory (כָּבוֹד – kavod) that is to be revealed to the Kehilah—the community of believers who trust in Yeshua the Messiah.

In our context today:

The suffering of Israeli families under rocket fire,

The anguish of displaced communities from the north and south,

The trauma of soldiers defending the borders of Zion,

The isolation of believers standing against media bias and international scorn—

All of these are birth pangs. They are not the final chapter, but the precursors of a greater unveiling—a manifestation of the Kingdom of Elohim in power, glory, and justice.

The glory to be revealed is not just in the future resurrection, but in the presence of Elohim among His people now, as we rise in prayer, unity, and holiness.

Let this promise be a fire in our bones:

To the intercessors: your tears are not in vain.

To the soldiers: your bravery is not forgotten.

To the scattered and afflicted: your groans are prayers before the throne.

The glory will come. The fire will fall. The cornerstone will not be shaken.

As we count the Omer and approach Shavuot (Feast of Weeks), let us not only remember the giving of the Torah but also cry out for the renewed fire of the Ruach HaKodesh, poured out as in Acts 2.

This is not the time to give up. This is the time to press in.

Isaiah 28:14–19 – The Covenant with Death Will Be Annulled

Let us turn to a sobering prophecy from the prophet Yeshayahu (Isaiah) that speaks directly to today’s political and spiritual crisis.

Verse 14

“Therefore hear the word of the LORD, you scornful men, who rule this people who are in Jerusalem.”

Explanation: Elohim addresses the corrupt leaders of Jerusalem—those mocking the prophets, trusting in worldly alliances rather than His word.

Verse 15

“Because you have said, ‘We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol we are in agreement… we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood we have hidden ourselves.’”

Explanation: This covenant with death is symbolic of aligning with evil forces or ideologies—perhaps in our time, compromising with terrorism or corrupt governments. It represents trusting in deception for safety.

Verse 16

“Therefore thus says the Lord YHWH: ‘Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; whoever believes will not act hastily.’”

Explanation: This is a prophetic announcement of Yeshua the Messiah, the true cornerstone of faith and security. Quoted in Romans 9:33, 1 Peter 2:6, and alluded to in Tehillim (Psalms) 118:22:

“The stone that the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.”

Verse 17

“Also I will make justice the measuring line, and righteousness the plummet; the hail will sweep away the refuge of lies…”

Explanation: Elohim will measure all things by His justice. False alliances, media propaganda, or political deception will not stand.

Verse 18

“Your covenant with death will be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol will not stand…”

Explanation: All the unholy deals with death and destruction will be canceled. Truth and righteousness will triumph over every lie.

Verse 19

“As often as it goes out it will take you; morning by morning, by day and by night… it will be a terror just to understand the report.”

Explanation: Judgment will come repeatedly, terrifying those who refused the truth. Only those standing on the Cornerstone will endure.

Revelation 18:4 – Come Out of Her, My People

“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, ‘Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.’”

Explanation: This is a call to separate from Babylon (בבל – Bavel)—the global system of confusion, rebellion, and idolatry. This is echoed in Jeremiah 51:6:

“Flee from the midst of Babylon! Let everyone save his life!”

The Prophetic Theme of Separation (הבדלה – Havdalah)

The idea of separation is embedded in Scripture:

Genesis 1 – Light was separated from darkness.

Exodus – Israel separated from Egypt and idolatry.

Leviticus 20:26 – “You shall be holy to Me… I have separated you from the peoples.”

Paul echoes this in:

2 Corinthians 6:17: “Come out from among them and be separate… and I will receive you.”

This is not legalism. It is covenant alignment—choosing Elohim’s truth over the world’s comfort.

Revelation 17: The 7 Mountains and 10 Horns

“The seven heads are seven mountains… and the ten horns… will receive authority for one hour with the beast.”

— Revelation 17:9–12

This speaks of seven spheres of influence: government, media, education, religion, business, arts, and family—all infiltrated by the spirit of Babylon.

But the 10 horns will ultimately turn against the harlot:

“For Elohim has put it into their hearts to accomplish His purpose…” (Rev. 17:17)

Even in chaos, YHWH’s counsel will stand.

Final Exhortations: Let the Word Come

“These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at My word.”

— Isaiah 66:2

And in Proverbs 29:1:

“Whoever remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy.”

Let us be those who tremble at His Word, not mock it. Let us not curse what Elohim has blessed. Let us declare:

“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the counsel of YHWH that will stand.”

— Proverbs 19:21

A Call to Unified Prayer

The time has come to connect the prayer altars across Israel.

We must unify:

Vertical Galilee House of Prayer

Altar of Prayer

And other houses of intercession

We must appoint a prayer coordinator, a watchman who links these altars into one prophetic voice. This unity will create a firewall of intercession from the Galilee to Jerusalem.

Conclusion – The Glory Is Coming

We are living in a time when false alliances will be shaken. The covenant with death will be annulled. The Cornerstone has already been laid.

The world groans. The hostages cry out. The nations threaten. But we are called to stand firm, to come out of Babylon, and to await the fire of Shavuot.

Let us count each day of the Omer not with despair but with expectation. Let us look up, for the ascended King will pour out His Spirit again. Let us not fear the scourge but stand on the Rock.

“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.”

— Romans 8:18

Amen. Come, Yeshua. Ignite Your Kehilah. Purify Your remnant. Bring Your glory.
