Entering the Throne of Grace: A Call to Mercy, Holiness, and Awakening

We live in days of shaking. There is terror in this world, with wars and rumors of wars. There is pain, death, famine, and even drone warfare filling the skies. Humanity is restless, and the nations are aligning in ways foretold long ago by the prophets of Israel.

Yet in the midst of this chaos, we remember that we live in the age of grace. The invitation is still open:

“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

— Hebrews 4:16

This is not a throne of terror for the believer — it is a throne of mercy, purchased for us by the blood of the sinless High Priest, Yeshua the Messiah, who sympathizes with our weaknesses (Hebrews 4:14–15).

All Nations Will Come Against Israel

The prophets spoke clearly: the nations of the earth will one day gather against Jerusalem.

Zechariah 12:2–3 — “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of staggering to all the surrounding peoples… On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples… and all the nations of the earth will gather against it.”

Zechariah 14:2 — “For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle… But the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city.”

This is not speculation. It is prophecy. Yet YHWH Himself will fight for Israel, and Messiah will stand on the Mount of Olives (Zechariah 14:4).

Ezekiel 38–39 describes Gog of Magog leading a coalition against Israel. Elohim intervenes with earthquake, fire, and judgment so that all nations will know He is YHWH.

Revelation 16:14, 16; 19:19 shows the armies gathering for Armageddon — not just against Israel, but against Elohim’s Messiah Himself. Yeshua returns in glory and defeats them.

Even the Psalms foresaw this:

Psalm 2:1–3 — “Why do the nations rage… the kings of the earth set themselves… against YHWH and against His Anointed (משיחו / Mashiach).”

Psalm 83:2–5 — “They say, ‘Come, let us wipe them out as a nation; let the name of Israel be remembered no more!’”

Isaiah echoed it:

Isaiah 29:7–8 — the nations that fight against Ariel (Jerusalem) vanish like a dream.

Isaiah 34:1–2, 8 — YHWH calls the nations to hear: His fury is against all who oppose Zion.

Joel 3:1–2, 9–16 — all nations are gathered into the Valley of Jehoshaphat for judgment because of how they treated Israel.

Micah 4:11–13 — many nations gather in arrogance, not realizing they are stepping into YHWH’s plan.

Zephaniah 3:8 — YHWH says, “For My decision is to gather nations… to pour out upon them My indignation.”

The Scriptures could not be clearer: Jerusalem is the stage of history’s final conflict.

The Suffering Messiah

Before the glory comes the cross. The prophets also revealed a Messiah who would suffer, be rejected, and die for our sins:

Isaiah 53 — “He was despised and rejected… pierced for our transgressions… crushed for our iniquities.”

Psalm 22 — “They have pierced my hands and feet… they divide my garments among them.” A foreshadowing of crucifixion centuries before it was invented.

Zechariah 12:10 — “They will look on Me, on Him whom they have pierced, and mourn for Him.”

This is Yeshua, the Lamb of Elohim, slain outside the gate — not only as sacrifice but as our High Priest.

The Magdala Stone and the Holy of Holies

In Magdala, a first-century synagogue was discovered with the Magdala Stone, carved with symbols of the Temple: the Outer Court, the Holy Place, and the Holy of Holies.

This reminds us of the separation between man and Elohim. Only the High Priest could enter the Holy of Holies, and that once a year.

But Messiah tore the veil (Matthew 27:51). The way in is no longer blocked.

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” — John 14:6

Not wealth, not ritual, not human effort — only through Yeshua.

Psalm 49:6–8 — no man can ransom another with riches.

Acts 8:18–20 — Peter rebuked Simon for thinking the gift of Elohim could be bought.

1 Peter 1:18–19 — we are redeemed not with silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Messiah.

The wealthiest people on earth — Elon Musk, Bernard Arnault, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Ellison — with all their billions, cannot buy access to the throne of grace.

The Red Heifer and the Sinless High Priest

Hebrews 13:11–13 compares Yeshua to the red heifer: burned outside the camp, rejected, consumed, but providing purification.

The red heifer was rare, blemish-free, wholly burned. Yeshua is the sinless, perfect sacrifice.

The ashes purified from death; His blood cleanses from sin and eternal death.

“If the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer… sanctify for the purification of the flesh, how much more will the blood of Messiah… purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living Elohim.” — Hebrews 9:13–14

Confessing Messiah Before Men

Yeshua said:

Matthew 10:32–33 — “Whoever acknowledges Me before men, I will acknowledge before My Father… but whoever denies Me, I will deny.”

Luke 12:8–9 — “Whoever acknowledges Me before men, the Son of Man will acknowledge before the angels of Elohim.”

This is our call — to confess Him openly, even as nations rage.

The Book of Life

The angels will gather the righteous remnant (Matthew 24:30–31; Matthew 13:39–43). Their names are written in the Book of Life:

Exodus 32:32–33 — whoever sins will be blotted out.

Psalm 69:28 — the wicked erased from the book of the living.

Daniel 12:1 — everyone found written will be delivered.

Revelation 20:12, 15 — those not in the Book of Life are thrown into the lake of fire.

This is the ultimate question: Is your name in the Book of Life?

Awakening and Mercy

People today must awaken:

Isaiah 52:1 — “Awake, awake, put on your strength, O Zion.”

Romans 13:11 — “It is time to wake from sleep, for salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.”

And we must seek mercy:

Lamentations 3:22–23 — YHWH’s mercies are new every morning.

Psalm 103:8 — YHWH is merciful and gracious.

Micah 7:18 — He delights in mercy.

Holiness and Fear

The Kehilah in Acts learned this through Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5:1–11). They lied to the Spirit and fell dead. Great fear came on the community.

Likewise, Paul warned in 1 Corinthians 11:27–32 that to eat the Lord’s Supper unworthily is to eat judgment. Some in Corinth were sick or dead because of irreverence.

Holiness is not optional.

The Tree of Life

Finally, the vision of Enoch:

1 Enoch 25 — a fragrant tree, reserved for the righteous at the great judgment. Its fruit and fragrance bring life, healing, and joy. The righteous will live long, free from sorrow and plague.

This is the restoration of Eden, fulfilled in Revelation 22:2: the tree of life whose leaves are for the healing of the nations.

Conclusion

Beloved, the time is urgent. Nations rage, deception abounds, war shakes the earth. But the throne of grace is still open. Yeshua, the sinless High Priest, calls us to come near.

Do you have His mercy? Do you have His glory — or only man’s fading glory? Is your name written in the Book of Life?

The Spirit calls us to wake up, return, repent, and draw near. There is still mercy today — but the great white throne is coming (Revelation 20:11–12, 15).

Let us go outside the camp, bearing His reproach, and enter into His glory. Let us cling to Yeshua, confess Him before men, and walk as a holy remnant.

For soon the nations will gather against Jerusalem, but the Messiah will stand on the Mount of Olives. And those who are written in the Book of Life will shine like the sun in the Kingdom of their Father.

“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

— Hebrews 4:16
