Rushing Wind”: A Call to Sacrifice, Spirit, and Zion’s Destiny

In every generation, sacrifice marks the road to redemption.

Today, like the brave soldiers of the IDF and countless defenders of freedom around the world, many are called to stand in the gap, to lay down their lives for what is good, just, and holy. Their courage echoes the ancient path of Avraham, Moshe, and ultimately Yeshua the Messiah, who gave His life not for conquest—but for salvation.

As we remember Pentecost (Shavuot), Ascension Day, and Jerusalem Day—we are reminded that our faith is not one of passivity. It is a covenantal mission to walk uprightly in the world, fueled by the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) and guided by the promises of Elohim.

We cry out: “Come, Rushing Wind!”

The Breath of Elohim and the Dry Bones

“Then He said to me, ‘Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, “Thus says Adonai Elohim: ‘Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.’” So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.”

—Ezekiel 37:9–10

“בֹּ֚אִי מֵאַרְבַּ֣ע רוּח֔וֹת וּפְחִ֖י בַּהֲרוּגִ֑ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה וְיִֽחְיֽוּ”

We are living in Ezekiel 37 moments again. The dry bones of history are rattling. Jewish people are returning from the four corners of the earth. And the Ruach is once again calling the body to rise—not by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit of Elohim (Zechariah 4:6).

Pentecost Power, Not Just a Celebration

On Pentecost (Acts 2), the Spirit came not gently but like a rushing mighty wind (רוּחַ סְעָרָה), filling the room and the people with power to witness. It wasn’t just to feel something—it was to ignite a mission.

“You shall receive power when the Ruach HaKodesh has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

—Acts 1:8

“אֲבָל תְּקַבְּלוּ גְּבוּרָה בְּבוֹא רוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ עֲלֵיכֶם וְתִהְיוּ לִי עֵדִים…”

The Kehilah (body of believers) today must cry out for that same power, to stand boldly for Zion, for truth, and for righteousness in an age of deception.

Jerusalem: The Beating Heart of Israel

As Jerusalem Day passes, we are reminded that Yerushalayim is not just a city. It is the beating heart of Israel and the center of Elohim’s prophetic plan:

“For the LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling place: ‘This is My resting place forever; here I will dwell, for I have desired it.’”

—Psalm 132:13–14

“כִּֽי־בָחַ֣ר יְהוָ֣ה בְּצִיּ֑וֹן אִוָּ֖הּ לְמוֹשָׁ֣ב לוֹ”

56,000 marched in Toronto for Israel, while only 500 stood for Hamas. The tide is turning—but only if we stay strong in the Spirit. The remnant must not grow weary.

Spiritual War: A War of Covenants

The Muslim Brotherhood and allied forces seek to delegitimize Israel and neutralize her global supporters—especially Christian Zionists, or rather, believers in Yeshua who support Israel based on covenant and prophecy.

Their methods are sophisticated:

Framing Zionism as colonialism.

Undermining Christian support with replacement theology.

Spreading misinformation in academia and media.

Infiltrating interfaith circles to promote false peace that calls for Israel’s dismantling.

But this is more than politics—it is a war of covenants.

While the Brotherhood seeks Dar al-Islam (Islamic dominion), we stand on the eternal ברית עולם (Brit Olam)—the covenant Elohim made with Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov. A covenant reaffirmed in Yeshua the Messiah and carried forth by all those grafted into Israel’s destiny (Romans 11:17–24).

A Morally Superior Foundation

The Judeo-Christian worldview, based on Torah and the teachings of Yeshua, upholds:

The dignity of every person made in the image of Elohim (Genesis 1:27 / בראשית א:כז).

Love for both neighbor and stranger (Leviticus 19:18, 34 / וַיִּקְרָא י״ט).

Justice with mercy.

Freedom with responsibility.

In contrast, jihadist Sharia Islam, as interpreted by extremists, often demands:

Submission through violence and fear.

Suppression of women and minorities.

Martyrdom by warfare, not by spiritual self-sacrifice.

Yeshua said:

“By their fruit you will recognize them.” (Matthew 7:16)

“מִפְּרִיהֶם תַּכִּירוּם”

The Spirit: Our Only Power Source

We cannot fight this battle with words alone.

The Spirit convicts of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8).

The Spirit empowers witnesses (Acts 1:8).

The Spirit reveals the heart of Elohim (1 Corinthians 2:10–14).

Just like in Acts 2, when the Galileans spoke Arabic, Persian, and other languages, we are called to speak prophetically into the nations.

Aliyah and the Hidden Treasures

As in the days of Egypt (Exodus 12:35–36) and Persia (Ezra 1:1–4), gold and silver are being released for the return of the Jewish people and the restoration of Zion.

In the Netherlands, starting from Westerbork Concentration Camp, prayer is turning into tangible action. A treasure was released—more than expected—as jewelers and intercessors gathered and gave. This is prophetic multiplication.

“I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory… The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,” says the LORD of hosts.

—Haggai 2:7–8

“לִי הַכֶּסֶף וְלִי הַזָּהָב נְאֻם יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת”

The kingdom of Elohim will come fully funded. But this is just training—the army of the Kingdom is preparing for full operations. Expect opposition, yes—but expect divine intervention.

Final Vision: A Fire That Sweeps the Earth

This is more than revival—it is an awakening of destiny. Like fire sweeping across dry grass, the Ruach is moving. The vision is clear:

No one will be lost.

None will be left behind.

The body will be united.

The mission will go forth.

The harvest is near. The sacrifice has been seen. And the wind is rising.

Come, Rushing Wind

We declare:

Let the wind blow. Let the bones live. Let the fire fall.

From the ashes of exile to the hills of Judea and Samaria, let the world see that Zion’s redemption is near.

Let this Pentecost not be ritual but reality—a rushing mighty wind, filling the Kehilah with boldness, wisdom, and supernatural clarity.

And let every believer rise, take up their place, and say:

“Hineni, here I am—send me!” (Isaiah 6:8)

Baruch Ata Adonai, Elohei Yisrael. Blessed are You, LORD, Elohim of Israel. Amen.
