Truth in the Day of Fire

“If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here”

Exodus 33:15 — שמות לג:טו

Hebrew:

“וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו אִם־אֵין פָּנֶיךָ הֹלְכִים אַל־תַּעֲלֵנוּ מִזֶּה”

English:

“If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.”

This is not poetry. This is survival.

Moses understood something many forget in times of war, tension, and pressure:

Without the Presence of Elohim, movement is danger.

You can have:

intelligence

weapons

preparation

strategy

But if His Presence is not leading—you are exposed.

The believer must return to this cry:

Do not go without His counsel

Do not move without His Presence

Do not act out of fear

Do not fear what the people fear

Isaiah 8:12–13 — ישעיהו ח:יב–יג

Fear spreads quickly in times of conflict.

Rumors move. Reports escalate. Narratives multiply.

But the command is clear:

Do not call everything conspiracy

Do not fear what they fear

Sanctify Elohim alone

The moment fear of man rises, discernment falls.

The moment Elohim is set apart as holy, clarity returns.

The Reality of the Battlefield — Lebanon

This is not abstract.

This is what it looks like on the ground:

Islamic resistance forces drew movement from occupying forces into a precise fire ambush

Movement identified near ביידר אלפקעאני (Beidar al-Faqa’ani)

Forces advancing toward נחל הליטאני (Litani River)

The ambush zone became a killing field

Heavy fire and smoke covered attempts to extract wounded

What actually happened (expanded reality)

Early stage of fighting — Litani region (מרחב הבופור)

A combined force (Paratroopers Battalion 890 + engineering unit Yahalom) moved to seize terrain.

Preparation phase — ~36 hours

Including engineering tools:

excavation equipment

rubber boats

tactical gear

Deep inside enemy territory → sudden escalation

Massive bombardment begins

Dozens of mortars and rockets fall within minutes

Casualties

Sgt. משה יצחק הכהן כץ ז”ל killed

~20 soldiers wounded

Critical decision point

Command debated:

withdraw due to exposure

or continue under fire

Loss of momentum

Surprise was lost

Movement compromised

Withdrawal under fire

Yahalom unit pulled back

Equipment left behind (באגרים, סירות גומי)

Paratroopers remained in kill zone

Holding under fire

For over an hour:

covering wounded evacuation

maintaining position

Final command decision

Withdrawal ordered

Mission halted to preserve force

What does this reveal?

This is exactly why Scripture says:

Ephesians 6:12 — האפסים ו:יב

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood…”

Because what you see:

ambush

mortar fire

battlefield chaos

Is only the surface.

Behind it:

strategy

timing

unseen forces

spiritual pressure

The believer must understand:

This is not only a physical war

This is not only military

This is not only human

Death passed over

And yet—

In the midst of this, there is testimony:

Death passed over me in southern Lebanon.

Not luck.

Not coincidence.

Not random survival.

This is Passover language.

Passover: The Pattern of Preservation

Exodus 12:12 — שמות יב:יב

“Against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment…”

Passover is not only deliverance—it is judgment + separation.

Some are struck.

Some are covered.

The difference is not location—it is covenant.

The gods of Egypt — systematically destroyed

Elohim dismantled Egypt piece by piece.

1. Nile → Blood

Hapi / Khnum defeated

Life source turned to death

2. Frogs

Heqet defeated

Fertility symbol becomes curse

3. Dust → Lice

Geb defeated

Earth itself turns against Egypt

4. Flies

Khepri defeated

Atmosphere corrupted

5. Livestock death

Hathor / Apis defeated

Strength collapses

6. Boils

Sekhmet / Imhotep defeated

Healers cannot heal

7. Hail + Fire

Nut / Shu defeated

Heavens become weapon

8. Locusts

Min defeated

Provision devoured

9. Darkness

Ra defeated

Light disappears

10. Firstborn death

Pharaoh / Isis defeated

Power structure broken

The message

This was not random.

It was a declaration:

Elohim rules creation

Elohim judges false systems

Elohim exposes false power

Elohim redeems His people

Hidden in His Presence

Psalm 27:5 — תהילים כז:ה

“He will hide me…”

Psalm 31:20 — תהילים לא:כא

“In the secret of Your presence…”

Colossians 3:3 — קולוסים ג:ג

“Your life is hidden with Messiah in Elohim”

This is not theory.

This is survival language.

Ezra & Nehemiah — rebuilding under pressure

After exile:

Ezra 3:2 — עזרא ג:ב

The altar is rebuilt first.

Ezra 4:24 — עזרא ד:כד

Work stops.

Ezra 5:1–2 — עזרא ה:א–ב

Prophetic voice restores movement.

Nehemiah’s pattern:

mockery

attack

internal weakness

distraction

Response:

Build

Guard

Stay focused

Exactly like the battlefield:

fight

hold position

evacuate wounded

preserve mission

Do not turn back

Psalm 78:9 — תהילים עח:ט

Ephraim turned back in battle.

Equipped—but retreating.

This is the warning.

Strength in weakness

2 Corinthians 12:9 — השנייה אל הקורינתים יב:ט

“My strength is made perfect in weakness”

When strength fails—Elohim moves.

Rise above

Isaiah 40:31 — ישעיהו מ:לא

“They shall mount up with wings as eagles…”

Not escape—elevation.

Faith. Hope. Love.

Final Declaration

If Your Presence does not go with us—do not bring us up from here.

We will not fear what the world fears.

We will sanctify Elohim alone.

We have seen battle.

We have seen ambush.

We have seen fire fall.

And still—

death passed over.

We remember Passover.

We remember Egypt.

We remember every false god that fell.

Hapi fell.

Ra fell.

Pharaoh fell.

And every system that exalts itself will fall again.

We fight—

but not against flesh and blood.

We build—

even under fire.

We stand—

when others retreat.

Yeshua leads.

Messiah reigns.

Elohim is our strength.

And heaven and earth bear witness.
