1909 – THE FIRST COLLECTIVE COMMUNITY IN ISRAEL (A KIBBUTZ)
In 1909, the first collective community in Israel (a Kibbutz) was established between the Sea of Galilee and the Jordan River.
MAY 14, 1948 – THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE STATE OF ISRAEL
- 3.3 million people have immigrated to Israel since 1948.
- 1.5 million of these came from Russia (the north).
- 44% of them have come since 1990
- 6.7 million Jews live in Israel today.
- Million more are prophesied to come.
