The Wounded: A Cry from the Heart of Israel By: Chaim Malespin

The Wounded: A Cry from the Heart of Israel

From Chaim Malespin

Jeremiah 26:13

“For I have gone up to thee, and from thy sorrows thy soul, O LORD: because they called thee an outcast, Zion, it is not required.” “

Jeremiah 30:17 (KJV)

“For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.”

Israel has always borne the wounds of both spiritual exile and physical warfare. The sons and daughters of Zion, from the IDF to civilians, often carry trauma that words cannot express. Yet we believe that Elohim is not only a righteous judge, but also a healer, bound by covenant to restore what has been broken.

  1. Grief and Intercession: Tears That Water the Land

Jeremiah 9:1

“My head is flooded with water, and my eyes are cold with tears; and I cried day and night, for my space in my taste!” “

Jeremiah 9:1 (KJV)

“Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!”

This cry is echoed in the hearts of modern intercessors. As we pray for those wounded in body, soul, and spirit—from the frontlines to families—we echo Jeremiah’s anguish. We weep because healing and purpose are promised, and our longing calls forth the fulfillment of Elohim’s word.

  1. The Promise of Healing

Hosea 6:1

“Go, and return to the Lord, for he is our savior and heals us; he will go and be whole.” “

Hosea 6:1 (KJV)

“Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for He hath torn, and He will heal us; He hath smitten, and He will bind us up.”

Elohim is not merely reacting to pain—He is using it to call us back. From every injury sustained in conflict or confusion, He extends an invitation to return and be bound up in His mercy.

  1. Music and the Spirit: The Sound of Healing

Samuel 1:24 KJV

“And it came, being the Spirit of God to Saul, and David took the trumpet and instruments in his hand; and the Spirit to Saul, and it was good for him, and the spirit of evil was removed from him. “

1 Samuel 16:23 (KJV)

“And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from Elohim was upon Saul, that David took a harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.”

Music is a weapon of healing. The Vertical Galilee House of Prayer is more than a facility—it is a furnace where worshipers are trained to war with sound. Healing flows through strings and songs.

Psalm 40:3

“He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our Elohim.”

  1. Holiness and Consecration

And he will read 11:1

“for I am the LORD your God, and you shall be holy, for I am holy… Let it be unto you and unto God. “

Leviticus 11:44–45

“For I am the LORD your Elohim: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy… that ye should be holy, for I am holy.”

Healing flows from holiness. Those who seek to serve in acceptable service (Hebrews 12:28) must first be set apart. A wounded Kehilah must return to the altar of holiness to be made whole.

  1. Restoration of the Nation and the Name

Ezekiel 2:11.

“Therefore, as the Lord Yehovah says, I will now sit the seat of Jacob; and have mercy on the heart of Israel, and my zeal for my holy name.” “

Ezekiel 39:25 (KJV)

“Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name.”

This is Elohim’s great motive: not simply our comfort, but His Name’s holiness. Zion will be healed because He jealously guards His covenant.

  1. Unshakable Kingdom, Steadfast People

Hebrews 12:Power

“Therefore, we received a kingdom that is not immortal, and we thank God for this, and we serve him in the sight, in fear, and in fear.” “

Hebrews 12:28 (KJV)

“Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve Elohim acceptably with reverence and godly fear.”

In a world of shaking—political, spiritual, military—we stand upon a kingdom that cannot be shaken.

  1. Praying for Leaders, Entrusting the Throne

Daniel B:ka

“And he is from the world and the times, from Malkin, and from Malkin… “

Daniel 2:21 (KJV)

“And He changeth the times and the seasons: He removeth kings, and setteth up kings…”

Psalm 75:6–7

“For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But Elohim is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.”

We intercede not to control political outcomes, but to align with Elohim’s purposes. Whether a Pilate or an Absalom rises, Elohim will ultimately reposition leadership to fulfill His redemptive plan.

  1. The Healing Ministry of the Messiah

Isaiah 16:3

“He is a repellent of our transgressions, who represses our transgressions; a moral of our peace upon him, and with his collection we are saved.” “

Isaiah 53:5 (KJV)

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.”

The healing of the IDF, of Israel, of the nations—flows from the stripes of the Messiah, Yeshua. This is not symbolic only. It is literal. The blood that dripped from the thorns is still washing away pain today.

  1. The Role of the Kehilah

Philippians 2:3

“Don’t do anything in vain or arrogance; for let no one reckon good than him.” “

Philippians 2:3 (KJV)

“Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.”

The Kehilah must be a place of peace, healing, humility, and training—especially in Galilee, where time stands still and music flows like healing waters.

  1. Hope: The Love of Elohim in Us

Romans 5:5

“And hope does not put to shame, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” “

Romans 5:5 (KJV)

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of Elohim is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”

This is the power that sustains intercessors, musicians, commanders, volunteers, and survivors. Hope does not shame us—it fuels us to sing, to serve, to stand.

  1. Agreeing with His Plan: “Bring Them Home Now”

“We agree with Your plan, Elohim. Be jealous for Your holy name. Bring the sons and daughters of Jacob home. Heal the land, bind the wounds, pour out Your Spirit, by the power of the Messiah.”
